For too long, working families in North Florida have been told to work harder, wait longer, and expect less. Meanwhile, corporations raise prices, insurance companies deny care, and politicians look out for billionaires and special interests instead of the people they represent.That’s not an accident. The system was built to benefit those at the top while everyday families struggle to get by.

I’m running for Congress to change that. Because in the richest country in the world, everyone should be able to afford healthcare, housing, childcare, and a good-paying job.

It’s time to build a government and an economy that works for working people again.

For too long, it has worked for corporations, billionaires, and political insiders.
I’m running to fight for working families, farmers, students, seniors, veterans, and communities across North Florida.
Because when people come together and demand better, we can build a future where everyone has a fair shot and no one gets left behind.

Good Jobs & Stronger Communities

Bring new industries to North Florida including clean energy, pharmaceuticals, aerospace, and tech.

I will fight to:

  • Bring new industries and good-paying jobs to North Florida, including clean energy, manufacturing, technology, and healthcare 
  • Invest in roads, bridges, broadband, and infrastructure to create jobs and strengthen our local economy 
  • Support unions and protect workers’ right to organize 
  • Raise the federal minimum wage to a living wage 
  • Guarantee paid family leave and paid sick leave 
  • Expand apprenticeships, trade programs, workforce training, and college-to-career opportunities 
  • Leverage our universities and trade schools by securing  federal investment in FSU, FAMU, our local state colleges and trade schools, turning  research breakthroughs into good-paying local jobs 
  • Support small businesses, farmers, and rural entrepreneurs with grants, loans, and technical assistance 
  • Expand job training for veterans transitioning to civilian careers

Lower Costs for Families

Families are being squeezed while corporations make record profits.

I will work to:

  • Lower the cost of groceries and everyday essentials by cracking down on corporate price gouging 
  • Break up monopolies that drive up prices 
  • Lower utility costs through energy-efficiency investments 
  • Reduce childcare and elder care costs 
  • Expand access to universal preschool and affordable childcare 
  • Provide direct support to family caregivers, including tax credits, paid leave, and Social Security credits for those caring for children, seniors, or loved ones with disabilities
  • Expand access to in-home and community-based care for seniors and people with disabilities, so families aren’t forced into impossible choices between work, care, and financial stability.

Pre-K to Career: Education & Opportunity for Every Stage of Life

Every child and every worker in North Florida deserves the opportunity to succeed, whether that path leads to college, trade school, military service, or a career in the workforce.
We need an education system that supports students from early childhood through adulthood and prepares people for real careers, not lifelong debt.

I will fight to:

  • Fully fund public schools and raise teacher pay 
  • Reduce class sizes and invest in school counselors, mental health services, and classroom resources 
  • Ensure every student has access to modern technology and high-speed internet 
  • Strengthen career and technical education programs in middle school and high school 
  • Make community college, state college and vocational schools tuition-free so there is access to affordable higher education and workforce training 
  • Expand Pell Grants and financial aid for working families 
  • Support HBCUs like FAMU and invest in higher education, research, and innovation 
  • Build stronger partnerships between schools, unions, local businesses, and industry so students graduate prepared for real careers 
  • Expand paid internships and apprenticeships so students can gain experience without financial hardship 
  • Protect academic freedom and keep political interference out of classrooms 
  • Protect inclusive, honest education that teaches real history and critical thinking
  • Ensure students can prepare for careers in healthcare, education, technology, manufacturing, agriculture, clean energy, and the skilled trades right here in North Florida 
  • Reduce the burden of student loan debt and make higher education more affordable for working families

From Pre-K to career, every person deserves the chance to learn, grow, and build a stable future right here in North Florida.

Housing Families Can Afford

People shouldn’t be priced out of their own communities.

I will fight to:

  • Tackle the homeowners insurance crisis with federal reinsurance support and stronger oversight 
  • Increase the supply of affordable housing so prices come down by securing federal funding, cutting unnecessary red tape, and providing oversight so that the homes built are truly affordable and accessible to the families that need them
  • Crack down on corporate landlords buying up neighborhoods 
  • Expand rental assistance and protect renters from predatory practices 
  • Help first-time homebuyers achieve homeownership

A Government That Shows Up

Representation is about more than votes in Washington. It’s about showing up for people here at home.

I will provide:

  • Responsive constituent services where no one is ignored 
  • Accessible district offices across North Florida 
  • Mobile constituent services for rural communities 
  • Hands-on help navigating and accessing federal programs, such as Social Security, veterans’ benefits Medicare, Medicaid, Small Business Administration, supporting constituents with grant applications, disaster relief and more.
  • Regular town halls and community listening sessions

Health Care for All

Healthcare is a human right.

No one should go bankrupt because they got sick. No parent should have to choose between paying rent and taking their child to the doctor. No one should lose healthcare because they lost a job.
I support a Medicare for All system that guarantees comprehensive healthcare coverage to every American.

Under Medicare for All:

  • Every person would be covered from birth
  • Medical, dental, vision, mental health, reproductive healthcare, and prescription drugs would be included
  • There would be no premiums, deductibles, or copays for medically necessary care
  • Patients would be free to choose their doctors and hospitals
  • Healthcare decisions would stay between patients and doctors, not insurance companies

Americans already pay more for healthcare than any other country while insurance companies and pharmaceutical corporations make billions in profits. We are paying for a broken system that denies care and leaves millions behind.

Medicare for All would lower costs for families, reduce administrative waste, strengthen rural hospitals, and ensure healthcare access no matter where you live.

I will also fight to:

  • Expand rural healthcare access across North Florida
  • Protect and reopen rural hospitals
  • Lower prescription drug costs by allowing Medicare to negotiate prices
  • Expand mental healthcare and addiction treatment services
  • Protect reproductive freedom
  • Invest in maternal healthcare in underserved communities
  • Support caregivers and home healthcare workers

Healthcare should never depend on your income, your employer, or your ZIP code.

Standing Up for Seniors & Veterans

If you worked hard all your life or served this country in the military, you deserve dignity and security.

I will fight to:

  • Protect Social Security and Medicare 
  • Expand home and community-based care for seniors 
  • Fully fund and staff VA facilities 
  • Improve veterans’ access to mental health services and healthcare 
  • Expand job training for veterans transitioning to civilian careers
  • Expand access to in-home and community-based care for seniors and people with disabilities, so families aren’t forced into impossible choices between work, care, and financial stability.

A Fair Deal for Rural North Florida

Rural communities deserve investment and opportunity, not neglect.

I will work to:

  • Expand high-speed internet access across rural communities 
  • Rebuild and strengthen rural healthcare access 
  • Support family farms and protect farmers from corporate exploitation 
  • Invest in public schools and teacher pay 
  • Ensure disaster relief reaches rural communities quickly and fairly 
  • Strengthen infrastructure for the entire district, not just the bigger cities
  • Improve  disaster preparedness and hurricane recovery

Protecting North Florida’s Environment

We can protect our environment while creating jobs and lowering costs.

I will fight to:

  • Invest in clean energy jobs 
  • Protect our waterways and natural resources 
  • Fully fund restoration of Apalachicola Bay  
  • Hold polluters accountable

A Humane Immigration System

Our immigration system is broken and needs real reform.

I support:

  • Comprehensive immigration reform by creating a pathway to citizenship for law-abiding undocumented immigrants 
  • Fix immigration court backlogs and make legal immigration faster and more efficient 
  • Secure the border with modern technology and properly trained personnel
  • Create a fair, timely and efficient immigration system 
  • Protect Dreamers, farm workers, and essential workers by creating fair pathways to stability, legal protections, and opportunity.
  • End the current immigration enforcement system by dismantling ICE and its detention and enforcement operations, which have too often led to abuse, family separation, and a lack of oversight. Replacing it with new, accountable structures that prioritize community safety, protect civil rights, and uphold fair labor standards, so no worker can be exploited and no family lives in fear

Fixing a Broken Political System

The government should work for people, not corporations or political insiders.

I will fight to:

  • End gerrymandering by creating independent redistricting commissions 
  • Ban the President, members of Congress and senior federal officials from trading stocks 
  • Overturn Citizens United, reducing the influence of big money in politics 
  • Establish and enforce strict ethics rules and accountability for all branches of government, including the Supreme Court 
  • Enact Congressional and judicial term limits, including the Supreme Court
  • Pass The Freedom to Vote Act
  • Ban former members of Congress and senior federal officials from lobbying for five years after leaving office
  • Create stronger transparency laws so people can see exactly how their tax dollars are spent
  • Strengthen ethics rules and enforcement across all federal agencies
  • Empower watchdog agencies to investigate corruption and hold bad actors accountable

A Fair Tax System

Working families pay their taxes every paycheck. Billionaires and giant corporations shouldn’t be allowed to dodge theirs.

I will fight to:

  • Ensure the wealthy billionaires and big corporations finally pay their fair share by closing loopholes that let them hide income and stash profits offshore 
  • Actual tax breaks for working- and middle-class families 
  • Expand the Child Tax Credit and Earned Income Tax Credit 
  • Reward companies that invest in American workers and communities instead of shipping jobs overseas 
  • Use tax revenue to invest in healthcare, education, infrastructure, and lowering everyday costs
